14th Annual Patriot Classic 2007
Dear Marching Band Director,
I am pleased to announce that the annual “Patriot Classic” will be held on
Saturday,
October 13, 2007 at Northern High School. The show is tentatively scheduled to
begin at 6:00
PM. There is no rain date scheduled for the competition. For over thirteen
years, the Northern
Music Boosters have overseen this competition. They are well experienced at
running a
marching band competition.
This is a Tournament of Bands (TOB) sanctioned competition and will be judged by
members of the National Judges Association (NJA). As stated in TOB by-laws, each
band will
receive event tickets as travel reimbursement.
We will have specialty judges in the captions of percussion and guard. There
will also be
an excellent selection of concessions available and the best food you will find
at any TOB in the
critique room. If you can fit us into your competition schedule, we would be
happy to host you.
